Fall Fashions from Martha Stewart at @Petsmart!

Looking for something adorable to dress your pup up in for the holidays? Head over to Petsmart, where the Martha Stewart line is part of the site-wide sale! We've had our eye on several different pieces which are already in our cart and ready to go!

Who doesn't love a cozy cable-knit for cold weather? Loving the neutral color of this sweater and the cute little sleeves. Looks really classy and high-end!

This polka-dot fleece number would be perfect for AM walks. We love how colorful it is and the fact that of course fleece is easy to clean/maintain

.

Seriously- look at the ahhh-dooor-able little tulle dress! Cannot get enough of the candy cane stripe ribbon or the holly accessory on the collar. We also love the fact that it's not going to be too warm for indoor wear.

Does your dog don anything festive for the holidays?

Oscar Newman Prima Ballerina Dress

Say what you will about dressing up your dog, but we are mildly obsessed with Oscar Newman's Prima Ballerina dress. Featuring a hand-smocked bodice, hand-beaded with tiny pearls and sequins, and a soft tulle skirt, it really is ever so "squee" worthy.

The perfect dress for any upcoming puppy proms, it's available for pre-sale over at GW Little for $79.99.

Can't lie... we're tempted.

Attention Hipster Dogs

So technically, it's past seersucker season, but come on... what dog in its right mind doesn't need a seersucker shirt the closet?!

From what we can tell, americandigs is the American Apparel for hipster dogs. Based out of Denver, americandigs offers a variety of high-quality apparel and accessories for your stylish pooch. Simple, well-made clothes seem to be their shtick. Prices are reasonable, and with fall around the corner, we definitely recommend checking out their puffer coats (love the lavender!). Also fabulous? The polo shirts. Love a dog in a polo shirt. (Yeah, just as weird written as it is to say it out loud...)

Oh, and if you're like us and have no respect for seasonal clothing etiquette, definitely pick up a seersucker shirt... or two.

FouFou Dog Spring Tees

Even though Paddy typically prefers to not to accessorize when the weather gets warm, we can't help but love the barkworthy spring t-shirts from designer FouFou Dog. These ruffled tanks featured painted pearls (a preppy dog MUST) and a cute little bow in a contrasting color.

Available in pink or yellow from Bloomingtails Dog Boutique, starting at $28.99.

Doggy Turtle Backpack

... Because what dog doesn't need a backpack?
... Because these are so cute they will make you go "aww" out loud?
...Because is it fair for you to have to haul your dog's stuff around all the time?
...Because what is more adorable than a little dog with its own backpack?

Louis Dog Lovely Coat

We love Louis Dog's exquisite doggy clothes... in fact, "lovely" is exactly the way we'd describe it. If only they didn't have to screen weird catch-phrases on their clothes.... Sigh.

This beautiful knit and faux-fur coat can be yours for $88 from UpscalePup.

Juicy Bunny Hoodie

When it comes to cuteness, the Barkistas are ALL OVER it. Thanks to Juicy's Bunny Hoodie, we've transformed Paddy into a little spring bunny!

We think the tail that Paddy was born with is pretty darn adorable, but LOOK at that bunny tail! Even better, the hood has a pair of ears on it.

Like all things Juicy, this spring number is constructed from quality materials (cotton terry) and finished well. The front sleeves are three-quarter length and trimmed with ruched pink cotton. Juicy's logo is stitched in gold on the back, but it's not ostentatious at all AND there is an harness opening (yay!).

Available in small-dog friendly sizes from Juicy's website for $45.

I've Got Love For You If You Were Born in the 80's...

Um. Oh my dog. We just spotted these doggy leg-warmers over at Phetched. Hello love at first sight! Seriously, the only thing that could make me love Paddy more, is Paddy outfitted in 80's attire.

Available for purchase in various sizes and colors from The Hydrant. We are SO picking up those rainbow ones.

Wags & Kisses,
The Barkistas

p.s. The title of this post was shamelessly borrowed from Calvin Harris' song, "Acceptable in the 80's".

Groundhogs Like to Lie...

With all of the cold weather lately, we've been getting a bit bored with our outerwear. As it looks like winter is here to stay (seriously, I don't trust human weather people, so why would I really trust a groundhog?), we've been checking out some new options. One of our favorites? This chic little Italian style puffy coat from NYC design shop Sam and Tasha's Fall 2010 line. The quilted coat features a faux fur trim, hood, fleece lining and a d-ring attachment (yay!). In addition to being ever-so-stylish, at $58 it also won't break the bank.

Available in small-dog friendly sizes. Visit Sam & Tasha's website to purchase.

Rule Britannia!

I think we can hear London calling…

Wag in the winter season with this adorable Red Melton Wool Jacket for the little "Beefeater" in your life. This double-layered wool number features a soft, velvety collar and shiny gold buttons (but luckily comes on and off with velcro). The only down-side? No d-ring attachment or leash opening. Boo.

Available from Canine Styles locations or their website in sizes 8"-16" .

Fidele Fashions

Here at Barkzilla, we believe you should never feel guilty about dressing your dog up, especially if it's in a beautiful custom created gown like this one!

We fell in love with this gorgeous doggie couture from Fidele as soon as we saw it. While it comes with a pretty serious price tag ($137), it's perfect for your pooch's red carpet moment or special occasion. Like every Fidele dress, their Royal Orchid gown is handmade to order. Based in Thailand, the company was founded by a passionate Thai-American vet in January 2010 and donates 5% of its profits to local animal shelters that help abused or abandoned animals.

Stunning fashion for "paws"-- how can you not love it?

Woof-Couture

While the life of a Barkista is undoubtedly glamorous, it can be expensive-- which is why we carefully try to avoid temptation.... unfortunately... we couldn't help but surf the latest fall trends on this rainy Sunday from the comforts of our couch.... why is how we stumbled onto this cute find.

New for fall from our friends at Juicy Couture is this adorable Twill Trench Cape. Featuring a rounded collar than be styled up, or down, it also has a double-breasted button front, buttoned epaulets and an oh-so-feminine pleated skirt. The only drawback is the lack of leash opening on the back.

We're big fans of Juicy's adorable pup-couture: while the prices can be a little steep, the clothes are perfectly sized for little dogs and the quality is amazing.

You can pick up this sassy little number directly from Juicy's website for $55.

What fall trends will your pup be sporting? Happy shopping!

$47.99

This Halloween, let Toto take the spotlight as Dorothy!
$26.99 (Ruby Red Slippers sold separately for $59.00)
